Homosexuality in 80s horror Part 1

The movie Sleepaway Camp is known for being a "gay" horror movie, and for good reason. Mainly, the killer, Angela, is thought to be a girl through the whole movie, only to find at the end she is really a boy, who was raised as a girl by her aunt Martha.... who happens to look like a man in drag herself. Also, it is not spoken, but in past memories shown, her father was gay, as shown in the last picture. I think its one of the reasons I love this movie. I have always been a fan of horror movies. Seeing this was cool to me at a young age because it was rare to see homosexuality in movies back then. This movie is pure 80s cheese, but its a fun watch, the sequels are fun as well. Highly recommended for those who love to watch the old 80s horror films.
