Bear City

So last night I finally got to see 'Bear City', and I was very pleased. I thought it was a great movie. Good cast, good story, and some good looking men. It was nice to see a gay movie, hell, a movie in general where the characters don't have to be perfectly muscled or toned to be the object of another character's affection. I hate how in most movies anyone with some weight to them is considered fat and is usually part of someone's joke. I also really enjoyed seeing a gay movie that centered around bears. Most gay movies tend to ignore the bear community. I really related to the main character, Tyler, as well. When I was 18 and just coming out, the first gay friends I made were my age as well, and they were all clean cut, twinky boys who dressed in clothes from stores like A&F and The Gap. Even though I tried to fit into that group for a while, I knew it wasn't me, and was afraid to come out of the so called "2nd closet" and tell them I liked older men, with body and facial hair, and dressed more down to earth. This was a great movie and I definitely recommend it!

Thanksgiving....

Today was Thanksgiving, and it was a great day and the rest of the weekend is looking promising as well. Since it's Thanksgiving, I will say this, I am very thankful to have the friends that are in my life. They make the fun times more enjoyable, and the bad times more bearable (No pun intended)

Kings Dominion

I was lucky enough this year to have 2 amazing amusement park trips. In August I went to Kings Dominion for my first time in almost 10 years, and once again It was my best trip to the park to date. When I heard about Intimidator 305 opening this year I HAD to go. A coaster with a 305 foot drop only a few hours away. The lines were great the whole day. Rode most rides multiple times, and rode Intimidator 5 times. I was a little disappointed in the trim brakes on the first drop, but it still won #1 coaster so far for me. Kings Dominion still holds the record for my favorite park!

Six Flags America

Recently I took a trip with my best friend to Six Flags America for Fright fest. It was my first trip to the park in 7 years and ended up being the best trip there I've ever had. We basically had the park to ourselves. It offered me many multiple rides on my favorites and I got some great pics from it.

Top coasters I want to ride!

Here are some coasters that are on the top of my list to ride someday. Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce, X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain, The Voyage at Holiday World, and Kinda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure

Roller Coaster Talk

So I'm a huge fan of Roller Coasters. I've only ridden about 42 different coasters so far, but it is a passion of mine and one day I hope to travel the country to ride many more. I will start off my coaster talk by posting my favorite coasters. The Wild One, Volcano : The Blast Coaster, Superman : Ride Of Steel, and Intimidator 305
